• General Proficiency (L.K.G to Std XII) will be calculated based on the total of all the exams and Extra-curricular & Co-curricular activities. (I Mid – Term to Half Yearly Exam)
• The General Proficiency prizes will be given, for the Present academic year during the Annual Day Celebration.
• In appreciation of their hard work, the I & II Rank holders in each exam, are awarded with certificates and prizes.

To bring out eh innate potentialities of the children the school organizes activities such as science exhibitions, fancy fete, rhymes hour, quiz, cultural and other talent shows and competitions.

L.K.G to STD III – Bob Cut Is Compulsory With Elastic Band (Black & White) Std Iv & V Two Plaits With Black Hair Band And Black Hair Clips (4 Nos) On Monday, Wednesday, Friday And White Hair Band & Clips On Tuesday & Thursday. The Girls Of Std Iii To V Are Asked To Wear Navy Blue Shorts On Monday, Wednesday & Friday And White Shorts On Tuesday And Thursday. The Students Of Vi To Xii Are Asked To Come In Two Folded Plaits Fastened With Black Ribbon And Black Clips (4nos) On Monday, Wednesday, Friday And White Ribbon And Clips On Tuesday And Thursday.

St. Joseph’s Matric. Hr. Sec. School Constitutes Four Houses Namely Montfort Marian, Gabriel And Joseph. The Aim Of These Houses Is To Build A Healthy Competition Among The Students In Academics, Sports, And Extra Curricular Activities. The Students As Well As The Teachers Are Divided Into Four Houses. Each House Has Its Own Colour And Flag. The House T-Shirts Of Different House Colour Is Worn By The Students On Tuesday And Sports Meet. House Masters, The Asst. House Masters, House Captain The Vice Captains Take Responsibility In Leading Their Houses. The House With Highest Points Will Be Given The Rolling Cup At The End Of The Academic Year.

The Students Of High Caliber Can Manage Themselves With The Coaching Done In The Class. For The Slow Learners Of Std X, Xi And Xii The Teachers Conduct Extra Coaching Classes From The Months November To February In The Evening From 4.00 P.M. To 5.00 P.M. The Teachers Sacrifice Their Time To Enable The Students To Perform Well In Their Public Examination.

To Bring Out The In – Born Talents Of Students In Various Fields Like Music, Drawing, Painting, Orating, Poetry Writing, Easy Writing, Mono-acting, Dance, Mimicry, Acting In Plays And So On, We Organize A Number Of Competitions In Our School. We Also Send Our Students For Various Open Competitions Organized At Various Levels.

To Encourage And Appreciate The Student For Their Outstanding Performance In The Studies, Sports, Extracurricular And Co-Curricular Activities, We Honour Them With Certificates Of Merits And Attractive Prizes In Term Of Books, Medals, Shields And Prize Money. During The Annual Concert And Prize Nite, Students And Members Of The Staff Who Excelled In Various And Competitions Are Honoured With Special Certificates And Prizes. “Inter House Sports Meet” Is Organized Prior To The Annual Sports Day Attractive Prizes (For The First Three Places) Are Distributed To The Winners Of The Various Items. During The Annual Sports Day Celebration, Medals And Certificates Are Distributed To All The Athletes Who Capture The First Three Positions In Various Events.
